America’s industry leader for automotive recycling, Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) hosted their 81st Annual National Convention and Pull-A-Part was very excited to be a part of the work. Pull-A-Part plays an active role in the association and the work they do.

This year, Pull-A-Part proudly sponsored the 2024 Pittsburgh Project Fall Festival, an event dedicated to celebrating and empowering our youth. The Pittsburgh Project, a Christian non-profit organization and Pull-A-Part Fueling Futures partner focuses on investing in future leaders through transformative after-school programs.

Pull-A-Part is excited to share our recent sponsorship of The Freedom Classic 10th Annual Golf Tournament, benefiting Adult & Teen Challenge Mercy House. Mercy House is one of Pull-A-Part’s Fueling Futures partners.

Pull-A-Part sponsored the 13th annual Mad Ave Soapbox Derby, helping to raise $18,000 for ReMerge and their efforts to help vulnerable persons with acute needs.

Pull-A-Part is excited to have the opportunity to partner with law enforcement across America by sponsoring the 72nd International Auto Theft Investigators convention this week.

Pull-A-Part is proud to serve on the Board of Directors for the Recycling Association of North Carolina (RANC). RANC works hard to ensure good recycling practices for North Carolina residents, and we work hard to do what we can to give back to our neighbors.

Pull-A-Part’s Senior Vice President, Derick Corbett, was honored to be invited to present at the Durable Automotive Plastics Circularity (DAPC) Workshop.  Aggressive climate policy and fuel efficiency goals are driving automotive manufacturers to seek out new technologies, like vehicle electrification.

Pull-A-Part is excited to continue our support for the National Super Kids Classic, celebrating its 20th anniversary on July 19, 2024. This remarkable event started in 1980 when Dave Milan, motivated by a child with special needs who wanted to participate in a race, created a unique race to include all children. Since 2018, Pull-A-Part has proudly sponsored a car and provided support for the race.

Recently, Terry Hufhand, Pull-A-Part's dedicated Charlotte store manager, attended Urban Promise’s Coffee and Camp event, providing firsthand insight into the impact of our support.

Pull-A-Part is extremely grateful to the Georgia Chamber of Commerce for hosting the Future of Sustainability Conference and for allowing us to be a partner. Georgia, and America’s, energy security requires all of our energy stakeholders to come together and work toward the same outcome.

As the automotive recycling industry begins to see more and more electric vehicles (EV) reach their end of life, we see clearly how essential we are to ensure that this technology can succeed as well as ensuring our planet does not suffer consequences.

The Recycled Materials Association’s Pittsburgh chapter recently hosted their annual golf outing supporting scholarships through the ReMA (formerly ISRI) Recycling Research Fund (RRF). Held under sunny skies, the event was a perfect blend of golf, philanthropy, and environmental stewardship.
