Pull-A-Part Birmingham: Serving Up Hope for Those in Need
Supporting our community means lifting up everyone, especially those in need. Each month, our dedicated store manager, Jesus Alvarez, along with his family, volunteers with the Friar’s Poor of Jesus Christ Religious Community to feed individuals experiencing homelessness in the greater Birmingham area. They prepare, cook, and distribute meals at least once a month. The Friars are known for their generosity, serving 10-20 people daily with essentials like non-perishable foods, clothing, and toiletries. Every Tuesday and Saturday, their outreach ministries provide hot, nutritious meals to 40-80 individuals. We’re proud to support this incredible mission and commend Jesus and the Alvarez family for their unwavering commitment to helping the most vulnerable in our community.
