PULL-A-PART JOINS GEORGIA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS BATTERY RECYCLING AND THE FUTURE OF EV AND HYBRID VEHICLES
Pull-A-Part thanks Chairman Mike Cheokas and his Georgia House Small Business Development Committee for their commitment to addressing the importance of recycling when it comes to Hybrid and EV vehicles. The hearing his committee hosted, and the opportunity for Pull-A-Part to work in partnership with the committee, is very good news for Georgia as this transition continues.
Pull-A-Part, and auto recyclers like us, serve on the front line when it comes keeping vehicles (and all of the pollutants that come with them) out of our landfills, lakes and fields. We are the front line when it comes to fueling America's tremendous supply chain needs. As America moves increasingly toward Hybrid and EV vehicles, responsible lawmakers must attack the challenge of what to do with these batteries when vehicles reach the end of life, and how to supply the vast amounts of feedstock necessary to produce the volume of batteries to fuel that fleet.
Chairman Cheokas is leading from the front, and we are proud to have been a part of this hearing. Pull-A-Part stands ready to work with our legislators as they endeavor to tackle this looming challenge.
