PULL-A-PART SPONSORS 13TH ANNUAL MAD AVE SOAPBOX DERBY

For the sixth consecutive year, Pull-A-Part sponsored the annual Mad Ave Soapbox Derby in Decatur, Georgia. The event was held on Saturday, October 12th, and raised $18,000 for ReMerge’s Giving Grace network. The Giving Grace network serves vulnerable persons with acute needs that threaten them with displacement and the loss of meaningful connections. ReMerge's efforts are geared toward single-parent families, persons experiencing homelessness, and the extremely poor, ensuring they can maintain a healthy, secure presence in the community to give them the best chance of success moving forward.
Close to 80 racers made their way down the hill in customized cars. Pull-A-Part provided free frisbees and toys for the kids, as well as screwdrivers and other tools for the parents.
