PULL-A-PART TESTIFIES ON BEHALF OF GEORGIA MOTOR VEHICLE CRIME PREVENTION ADVISORY BOARD

This year, Georgia Representative Chairman John Corbett (R-Lake Park) introduced legislation, HB 1379, that would establish a Georgia Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Advisory Board. The sole purpose of this Board is to provide dedicated resources to local law enforcement focused solely on tackling auto crimes. At Pull-A-Part, we work hand in hand with law enforcement across the country to combat auto crimes, and we know that their zeal to stop these crimes is unmatched.  Unfortunately, the bandwidth they need to succeed is lacking. This bill by Chairman Corbett is exactly the right approach to solve the correctly identified challenge. Derick Corbett, Senior Vice President at Pull-A-Part, testified on behalf of Chairman Corbett and his effort to pass this bill, whose testimony you can watch here.  Unfortuantely, GA HB 1379 did not make it to law this year, but Pull-A-Part is extremely grateful to Chairman Corbett for his vision and effort. We hope that he brings this effort back to the forefront in 2023, and Pull-A-Part stands ready to support him when he does.
