Job Description

We are seeking an excellent Auto Salvage Assistant Processing Manager. As a leader of the Pull-A-Part processing team, our assistant processing manager works side-by-side with team-members on the salvage and recycling yard to train and lead the team in their daily work of processing, dismantling, and recycling of automobiles. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise production team members
• Willingness to work in a hands-on, all-weather outdoor environment and ensure that production goals are met safely and consistently
• Ability to effectively mentor and train new team-members

• Dependable/reliable and committed to working required hours, including occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Implement and maintain company policies and standards
• Maintaining environmental, health, and safety standards and quality controls
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good mechanical skills
• General working knowledge of automotive parts
• Experience with basic power tools, forklift operation, and heavy equipment preferred
• Experience with maintenance/troubleshooting of heavy equipment (loaders, hydraulics, tow motors, large equipment) preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift 50lbs, and stretch as required by a specific task
• Must have reliable means of transportation to work
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
