Job Description
Pull-A-Part is currently looking for an entry to mid-level IT Engineer to support our growing business. This position requires technical support of workstations in a network environment including the delivery, installation and setup of such systems in the end-user community. It includes installation of approved software as well as the diagnostics of basic hardware and software problems encountered by the end-users and the maintenance of all equipment in good working order.
Duties:
- Troubleshooting basic help desk needs for our stores and corporate offices and providing real time support for end users.
- Prioritizing and managing multiple customer tickets/issues simultaneously through Zendesk.
- Identifying and resolving issues with O365.
- Resolving local and remote IP network problems, file sharing issues, domain logon problems, etc.
- Working with third party vendors to schedule work to complete a task.
- Support of a Ubiquiti Wi-Fi system to ensure optimal uptime.
- Assisting users experiencing issues with their company phones. (Mostly iPhones)
- Supporting multiple types of printers.
- Improving quality results by evaluating and upgrading processes, directing change.
- Testing and evaluating new technologies to improve the user experience.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Primarily remote working.
- Working directly with corporate executives and call center staff.
- A moderate level of physical activity can be expected. Standing, walking, lifting 10-20 pounds, frequent bending and kneeling.
- Working in a Windows environment across multiple domains.
- A light level of travel is required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Desired Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Strong customer service skills
- O365 experience
- Experience supporting a phone system is preferred (VOIP)
- Ability to troubleshoot network and Active Directory issues
- Understanding of LAN and WAN technologies
- Experience with Windows Server (2008-2019)
- Experience with configuring switches and routers
- Experience with MDM solutions
- Familiar with IIS, DNS, GPOs and OUs
- Good level of verbal and written communication in English
- Good understanding of internet technologies
- Ability to deliver quality, timely IT Support to end-users with regular updates
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and provide excellent customer service
- Excellent at dealing with people at all computer skill levels
- Proven ability to multitask
