HOW TO REMOVE AN AIRBAG FROM A FORD EXPLORER

Pull Tip: Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait approximately 15 mins to allow everything to power down.

  • Pocket Screwdriver Pocket Screwdriver
  • 8mm Socket 8mm Socket
  • Ratchet Ratchet

Instructions

  • 1

    Pry covers on backside of steering wheel to expose fasteners

  • 2

    Remove fasteners on both sides of steering wheel

  • 3

    Remove horn electrical wire

  • 4

    Remove both fasteners to airbag assembly and remove
